Question 1

Is it free to apply?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Candidates never pay Hire Now anything, now or later. Employers pay us when they hire. If anyone asks you for a "training fee" or "visa fee" for a remote job, it's a scam.

Question 2

What happens after I apply?

Accepted Answer

Three quick questions, then a skills interview (about 7 minutes) with four short tasks from the real job. You see your scores and tips straight away. If you're ready, you record a short voice intro and verify your ID, and our team lists your anonymous profile for approved employers.

Question 3

Which careers can I apply for?

Accepted Answer

Real Estate Cold Caller, Lead Manager, Real Estate Acquisitions Assistant, Dispositions Assistant, Appointment Setter, Sales Development Rep (SDR), Customer Support (Phone), Chat & Email Support, Technical Support, Virtual Assistant. Each has its own short skills interview, and you can read every task on its career page.

Question 4

Do I need a CV or experience?

Accepted Answer

No CV. The skills interview shows how you handle the work, and beginners are scored on what they do in the tasks. If you're new, say so in the quick questions.

Question 5

Can I apply for more than one career?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You apply once, then add more careers from your profile page, including ones outside your field. Each career has its own short interview (about 6 minutes after your first, with no warm-up), and employers see every career you qualify for. You can start up to three new careers a day. Not sure where to start? Each career page shows its four interview tasks, so you can compare first.

Question 6

How long does it take?

Accepted Answer

The form takes about 1 minute, the quick questions take a few taps, and the skills interview takes about 7 minutes. You can do it on a phone or a computer.

Question 7

What does the skills interview test?

Accepted Answer

The skills the job needs. Each career has four short tasks: a quick introduction, then three situations from the real work, such as handling an objection or calming an upset customer. Every answer is scored on the skills listed on the career page, and spoken answers also get scores for spoken English.

Question 8

Do I speak or write my answers?

Accepted Answer

Calling and phone-support careers are voice-first: you record your answers. Chat & Email Support is done in writing, because that's the job, and a few tasks in other careers let you choose. Each career page says which.

Question 9

Who scores my answers?

Accepted Answer

An AI model scores each answer against the career's skills, using the same guide for everyone. Our team reviews every profile before it's listed, and you can ask for a person to review your result.

Question 10

Can I practise first?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every career page shows the real interview tasks, and the free lessons at /learn explain what employers look for. After your interview, a free account opens the Academy: voice drills with feedback on how you sound, and on the English sounds Arabic speakers often find hard in read-aloud drills.

Question 11

What if my result says I'm not ready yet?

Accepted Answer

You'll see which skills to work on, with tips for each. Then practise in the free Academy: your retake opens 14 days after the interview, sooner the more drills you pass (at least 3 first). If something went wrong during your interview, such as a dropped connection, email hello@hire-now.xyz and we'll look at it.

Question 12

What if my connection drops during the interview?

Accepted Answer

Your answers are saved as you go. Open your private link again to carry on.

Question 13

Who sees my profile?

Accepted Answer

Only employers our team has approved. They see an anonymous profile: your scores and your voice intro (and a video pitch only if you chose to add one). They don't see your name, phone number, email or ID.

Question 14

When are my contact details shared?

Accepted Answer

Only when you accept an offer. Accepting shares your name, phone number and email with that employer, so you can agree the details directly.

Question 15

Why do you check my ID?

Accepted Answer

So employers know every profile belongs to a real person, and nobody can apply as someone else. To be listed, our team checks your phone number and a short video. When you accept an offer, we check a photo of your ID before the employer gets your contact details. We delete the video and the ID photo as soon as each check is decided.

Question 16

I lost my private link. How do I get back?

Accepted Answer

Use "Find your application" at hire-now.xyz/status and we'll email your link. Filling in the apply form again with the same email and phone number does the same. For your safety, the link only ever goes to the email address you applied with.

Question 17

How do I delete my data?

Accepted Answer

Email privacy@hire-now.xyz from the address you applied with. Our privacy notice explains what we keep, why, and for how long.

Question 18

Who pays my salary?

Accepted Answer

The employer hires you directly and pays you directly, in the way you agree with them. Hire Now never handles wages and never takes a cut of your pay.

Question 19

How much can I earn?

Accepted Answer

Each career page shows our pay guidance for full-time work. The employer sets the final salary, and it depends on the role, the hours and your experience. Across careers, our full-time guidance is $400–$1,500/month.

Question 20

How will I be paid?

Accepted Answer

You and your employer agree on it before you start, for example a bank transfer or a payments service such as Payoneer. Hire Now never handles your wages.

Question 21

What hours will I work?

Accepted Answer

Most US teams work their business day, which is roughly 4pm to midnight Cairo time for the East Coast and later for the West Coast. Each employer sets its own hours.

Question 22

Can I work part-time?

Accepted Answer

Some roles are part-time. Tell us which hours you can work in the quick questions. Each employer sets its own hours, and an offer shows them when the employer includes them.

Question 23

Can I work from anywhere in Egypt?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from anywhere with a stable connection. Our pay guidance is the same in every city, because employers pay for the work, not the location.

Question 24

What equipment do I need?

Accepted Answer

A laptop or computer, a headset with a microphone, a stable internet connection and a quiet room. A 4G hotspot as a backup helps if your line drops, and a small UPS keeps your router and laptop on through a power cut.

Question 25

Do I need a visa or a work permit?

Accepted Answer

You work from Egypt, so you don't need a US visa. How you're engaged (usually as a contractor) is set out in your agreement with the employer: read it before you sign.

Question 26

Do I pay tax on this income?

Accepted Answer

Income from remote work can be taxable in Egypt, and the rules change. Ask an accountant: Hire Now doesn't give tax advice or deduct tax.

Question 27

How do offers work?

Accepted Answer

When an employer wants to hire you, the offer appears on your private status page and we email you. You can accept it, suggest a different salary, or decline.

Question 28

What happens after I accept?

Accepted Answer

We share your contact details with that employer, and you agree the start date and the rest directly with them. Your agreement is with the employer, not with Hire Now.

Question 29

What about Ramadan, Eid and time off?

Accepted Answer

Agree your Ramadan hours and Eid days with your employer before you start. Paid leave depends on your agreement with them.

Question 30

What if the job doesn't work out?

Accepted Answer

Email hello@hire-now.xyz and tell us what happened. Anything between Hire Now and the employer, including our guarantee to them, never costs you anything.

Question 31

Can I refer friends?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Refer & Earn page explains how the referral bonus works.
